Hawaii The Big Island

On Hawaii, the Big Island, lava flows into the sea daily, sometimes in a trickle and other times like a raging river. The frequent eruptions bring it closer and closer to the surface every day. Currently Loihi is 2800 feet below the waves where the dolphins and whales call home.
